About the Elantra

The Hyundai Elantra is a compact car that is bound to turn heads thanks to its bold and unique styling. Thankfully, this bold look is backed up with great performance, practicality and a good set of technology inside. In fact, it even outclasses some of its rivals such as the Nissan Sentra and Honda Insight.

As standard, the Elantra is fitted with a 1.6 litre, four-cylinder engine that produces 147 horsepower. This certainly isn’t the best engine for a compact car on the market, but for everyday use, it’s more than capable of every task you could throw at it. Hyundai also offers its users a hybrid model, which considerably increases fuel economy.

As for the handling and suspension, the Elantra is awesome. The suspension feels athletic yet tame at the same time. So, if you’re sat on the motorway for four hours, you’ll be in comfort, but if you want to race down the backroads at 60 miles an hour, the Elantra will still feel at home. This is matched with crisp handling, making this Hyundai one of the best performing compact cars on the market.

The Elantra’s futuristic styling continues inside the Elantra. The overall design is incredibly minimalistic, giving the car a clean and modern look. You’ll even see LEDs that offer mood lighting.

Thankfully, this modern look doesn’t come with practical compromises. You’ll easily be able to fit four passengers comfortably, with plenty of room for luggage. This makes the Elantra one of the most stylish and practical compact cars on the market

As for infotainment, the Elantra is equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen display as standard. There’s also an instrument cluster, which is packed with the latest technology from Hyundai. There’s pretty much every gadget you’d ever need in the car, which simply increases its practicality.
