About the F-350

The Ford F-350 is a full-sized pickup truck that has been sold under the Ford Super Duty range since 1999. It sits in the heavy-duty range of the Ford F-Series. There have been four generations released, with the latest version coming in 2017.

As the name indicates, it sits between the F-250 and F-450 trucks. It represents one of the largest pickup trucks that serves both private and commercial purposes.

The F-350 is heavily customizable as Ford offers a huge array of options. These include various wheelbases and other options like layout and trim.

Like most Ford pickups, it features the typical truck configurations like the 2-door regular cab, 2-door Super Cab, and 4-door Crew Cab.

Ford also offers various customization options like various box lengths, as well as single and dual-rear-wheel drive.

Like the other models found in the F-Series, the F-350 goes up against competitors like the Chevrolet Silverado 3500 and the RAM 3500HD.

Other customization options include the various trim levels. These include the base XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, and the top-of-the-line Limited edition.

As a heavy-duty truck, Ford outfits the model with relatively large engines. These consist of a 6.2-liter V8 or a 7.3-liter V8 petrol engine. The only diesel engine available is a 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 Turbo Diesel.

All of these engines are mated with a 10-speed automatic transmission regardless of trim.

It represents one of the most popular models in the Super Duty range, even being awarded the 2017 Truck of the Year by Motor Trend magazine.
