About the F-150

Since the 1940s, Ford has been building a series of dedicated rough and tough pickup trucks. The F-series include heavy-duty full-size pickup trucks that are Ford's best-selling vehicles in the United States since the '70s.

Although there is a great range of pickup trucks in the F-Series such as the F-250 through to the F-450 Super Duty pickups and more, the most popular version of all is F-150 which is now successfully embarking on its fourteenth generation.

All thanks to its amazing capabilities of towing and hauling, the F-150 is America's favorite pickup truck that is also used by many police forces across the North of America.

Over the years, the Ford F-150 has gone through an array of upgrades and iterations that make it even toughest, smartest and the most capable of all the pickup trucks in the leading F-Series line-up.

Versus its rivals such as the Chevrolet Silverado and the Dodge Ram, this truck delivers more power, interior space and less fuel consumption.

This modern pickup truck is made up of a tough, high-strength, aluminum-alloy body that is fixed to a lightweight steel frame and its muscular design boasts upgraded chassis and suspension.

All of this is purposefully designed to make it perform heavy-duty and challenging tasks while delivering a great balance of power and performance.

This chassis is used in other models sold by the company as well, such as the Expedition, a large SUV capable of going off-road while maintaining comfort for passengers inside.

As per the news, the new F-150 will receive a major technological upgrade and there will be an available hybrid powertrain for a fuel-efficient drive. The latest model will be equipped with a pack of batteries and an electric motor to help achieve the most miles possible from a tank of fuel.

If you are looking for a strong pickup truck with great towing capabilities and power, you must go for F-150 for the best off-road experience. The range of trucks from Ford are known to survive for many more years than what is expected meaning they hold their value incredibly.
