About the Bipper Tepee

Those people who were looking for a small-scale family-friendly minivan that had low running costs but all the best features of a larger vehicle were pleased to find an ally in the Peugeot Bipper Tepee. This model was part of a larger badge-engineered van group stemming initially from the Fiat Fiorino.

The Fiorino has a long history going back to the 1970s, but the Bipper van, along with the Citroen Nemo, were created by their respective OEMs alongside the third generation of Fiorino that launched in 2008. It enjoyed a fairly short production run to 2016, but during that time found some popularity, especially in the Bipper Tepee minivan form.

Reviewers of the Peugeot Bipper Tepee were not always so kind overall to the vehicle, but could never deny that this car had some attractive features and strong points. Most praised were its practicality and its running costs. Small as it may have been, the Bipper Tepee still offered about 13 cubic feet of trunk space with all the seats up, and ranging up to more than 31 cubic feet when the rear seats were put down.

On top of that, the Bipper Tepee had a fully flat floor, which made storing larger items much easier. It also had a 54.6-mpg combined fuel economy --- 65.6-mpg in UK/Imperial measures --- which makes it extremely cost-effective in those markets where gasoline comes at a steep premium. Fuel economy is further enhanced by the use of a stop-start system that helps regulate gasoline waste when in heavy traffic.

People also came to like and appreciate the fact that the Bipper Tepee, despite being a smaller model, still offered sliding doors, which made access to the rear seats and storage compartments much easier for everyone. Available packages like on the Outdoor trim level added roof bars, air conditioning, and fog lights, too.
