About the Gladiator

The Jeep Gladiator is a pickup truck that excels in practicality and great looks. However, these advantages don’t come without their drawbacks. The Gladiator sacrifices much of its comfort in the pursuit of practicality. That being said, the practicality that it does offer is pretty incredible.

Under the hood, the Jeep SUV is equipped with a 3.6 litre V6 engine that produces 285 horsepower, along with 260 pound-feet of torque. This engine allows the Gladiator to accelerate from 0-60 miles per hour in 7.2 seconds, which is a little slower than rivals from the likes of Honda.

The engine is coupled with solid handling and suspension. Soft suspension allows the Gladiator to go pretty much anywhere, and whilst the steering is heavy, it’s more than usable in everyday scenarios. The Gladiator is also packed with off-road equipment such as skid plates and the ability to go through 30 inches of water.

This SUV can pull 7650 pounds at the top of the range. Even the base model can tow an impressive 4000 pounds. This makes the Gladiator incredibly versatile and useful for a wide range of customers.

In the cabin, the design is very simple and minimalistic, which is meant as a compliment. Coupled with high-quality materials, the interior feels incredibly high-end and luxurious. It’ll also be easy to clean if you frequently enter the Gladiator with muddy boots.

As for technology, the Gladiator is equipped well. Not only will you get a responsive touchscreen infotainment centre, but you’ll also receive a number of convenient features. These include heated seats, storage options, cruise control and parking sensors.

The Gladiator also has a number of innovative safety features such as blind-spot monitoring and adaptive cruise control. Rear-parking sensors can also be selected.
