About the Panamera
The Porsche Panamera is a luxury car that simply doesn’t understand what it means to compromise. The family-friendly sports car blends performance, style, comfort, luxury, practicality and technology to produce one of the most well-rounded luxury cars on the market today. It’s hard to pick faults with the Panamera, which is why it competes so well with the likes of Audi and Mercedes-Benz.
Under the hood, the Panamera has a wide range of engines to suit any need. The entry-level model is equipped with a 2.9-liter V6, producing 325 horsepower. This allows the four-seater sports car to accelerate from 0-60 in around 5.3 seconds, which is incredibly good for an automobile of this size. If you want a bit more power, you could opt for the 4S hybrid, which produces 552 horsepower and accelerates from 0-60 in under four seconds. The only issue with the bigger engines is that they produce slightly more noise in the cabin.
The suspension of the Panamera is on the firm side. This is advantageous when driving on long roads at high speeds but can become uncomfortable when you’re driving through town. This point can be mitigated with the addition of Porsche’s adaptive suspension though. The steering is also excellent and will be able to handle any task you throw at it.
The interior of the Porsche Panamera is simply a beautiful place to be. Porsche has used only the highest quality of materials, making the cabin feel sturdy and secure. The leather trim adds style and poise, and really sells the luxury feeling. There’s also plenty of legroom for everyone, making the cabin comfortable as well as pretty.
If the car seems a bit small inside for you and your family you can always opt for the crossover SUVs that Porsche makes that are considerably taller, the Cayenne and the Macan.
There’s a decent amount of tech in the cabin. For instance, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment centre comes as standard. This is very crisp and easy to use.
