About the Enyaq

Skoda decided to go green with the all-electric Enyaq. It is one of the latest cars in the Skoda lineup and shows how the automaker is embracing future technologies to stay relevant. It entered production in September 2020. The competitors of this car include Volkswagen ID.4/ ID.3, Cupra Born, Audi Q4 e-Tron, etc.

This model comes with two battery sizes rated as 58 kWh iV 60 and 77 kWh iV 80. The former one has a power rating of 177 bhp produced by an electric motor placed at the rear of the vehicle. Similarly, the iV 80 version of Skoda Enyaq is offered with a rear-wheel-drive powertrain. It is fitted with an electric motor capable of churning out a notable 201 bhp. Another version of the Enyaq is the iV 80X SportLine. It is offered with an AWD powertrain and has the best power rating among all models. Amazingly, its electric motor can produce up to 261 bhp.

All these versions come with a considerable range from a full battery charge. The iV 60 can do 252 miles in a single charge, iV 80 can go as far as 329 miles, and iV 80X SportLine will take you 320 miles. All Enyaq models come with a charging set-up of about 50 kW, which can also be upgraded to 100 kW for iV 60 and 125 kW for iV 80.

This model can come in one of eight different colors. The exterior of Enyaq is aerodynamic yet quite exquisite and charming. The interior of this car can be selected according to your choice out of the five suggested ‘Design Selections’. These include Loft, Lounge, Lodge, Suite, and ECO Suite. All of these choices are extremely lavish and pleasing.

The 13-inches infotainment display screen has all the basic features. More advanced functions such as integration with sat-nav, Apple Carplay, and Android Auto are also offered in various trims.

In a nutshell, Skoda Enyaq is an option to look out for if you want to buy an electric car. It is an electric car with a decent range and not-so-bad looks.
