About the Q60

The Infiniti Q60 is a coupe that attempts to attract buyers with its sharp looks and big engine. However, there isn’t actually much behind these bold looks, as the Q60 fails to deliver in several key areas. Buyers would be better off buying a coupe from Cadillac or Chevrolet, as the car simply doesn’t provide good value for money.

Under the hood, the Q60 is equipped with a 3.0-liter V6 with two turbos for good measure. The standard version produces 300 horsepower and the Sport model produces an extra 100. Buyers can choose from rear-wheel, or all-wheel drive too. So, in terms of engines and drivetrains, there are a lot of choices, and that V6 is very good too. It sounds great and makes the Q60 one of the fastest coupes on the market.

However, the compliments for the Q60 do end there. The suspension feels far too firm, which makes for an uncomfortable ride. This does get better with speed, but town driving can become extremely uncomfortable. Furthermore, the steering feels inaccurate and sluggish. This really takes away from the great engine, as you feel like you can’t trust the car with all that power.

The interior of the Q60 is nice, but it’s also pretty out of date. Many drivers have said that they think the car belongs in the 2010s, because the styling feels very much from that era. The materials used are of a high quality, but the cabin just doesn’t match the Infiniti brand, or the car’s exterior. The cabin also feels really cramped, which is a major issue, especially for taller drivers.

As for infotainment, the Infiniti Q60 comes with a dual-screen system as standard. Like the cabin, this feels pretty old and the touchscreen is fairly unresponsive and not as crisp as you would expect.
